About Us

Carrie's Place is a safe place for you and your children.
It is a large homely suburban house with your own bedroom, communal kitchen and living areas and shared bathrooms. You can do your own cooking while household duties are shared among all residents. It is like your own home but you may share it with up to four other women with or without children.
Residents of Carrie's Place can stay up to 4-8 weeks depending on circumstances. A very small number of *medium term accommodation places is also available for a period of 3-12 months after leaving the refuge.
Carrie's Place believes that everyone has the right to feel safe all the time.
